Pipefitters Local 636
Farmington Hills, Michigan
1999

This 6,000 square foot building is
made of copper shingles, corrugated
steel and burnished concrete block.

The metal surfaces relate to the
Pipefitters trade. The metal is held
aloft by concrete block that connects
the building to the ground.

The plan is compact, functionally
arranged about central service spaces that do not need natural light. Every office has natural light.
