Monet to Dali, continued:

The curator and educator wished to convey five themes: The Tranquility of Rural Life, The Anxiety of an Unsettled Time, An Unbounded World, The Interior World and The Dynamism of Urban Life. We created a specific mood for each of these themes using economical means such as paint color, room geometry, and a few special details.
A highlight work displayed on an intensely colored panel introduced the mood for each theme. The gallery wall colors were muted versions of these highlight colors to compliment the work and to create a rythm of change from gallery to gallery.

A special feature of the exhibit was the Dialogue Room. This room, at the center of the exhibit, set at an angle and clad in translucent fiberglass panels, provided a space for visitors to explore a hands-on interactive wall and other educational materials.
